STEGO FOOTPRINT PROJECT

Operational Impacts and Company Culture Since 2014, the Stego Footprint Project has helped guide our company’s sustainability efforts by focus ing our attention on operational impacts (the day-to-day components of running a company) that can be holistically sustainable. By “branding” the Stego Footprint Project it has provided us a vehicle to both engage our team and influence our industry’s stakeholders. The Stego Footprint Project is rooted in our belief that every company in the building product industry contributes — and can participate in the solution — to greenhouse gas emissions, landfill waste, and other threats to a more sustainable future.

A company’s carbon footprint goes beyond the lifecycle impact of its products or manufacturing processes. For Stego, this includes our headquarters in San Clemente, California, which includes the Stego Tech Center, and a network of remote employees around North America who service and sup port the construction industry.

The Stego Footprint Project concept was created not only to weave sustainability into our company culture, but also showcase our comprehensive efforts in a simple way to those outside of our company.
