Stego Sustainability Report
OUR PEOPLE AND COMMUNITIES
Social Responsibility Generosity is at the core of who Stego is, and that is largely due to the giving hearts of our company owners, Paul and Matt Blasdel. Stemming from their selfless spirits, Stego has always given to various philanthropic organizations. Stego has contributed to organizations across the country, including YMCA, National Mul tiple Sclerosis Society, and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. We are also grateful to have had the opportunity to donate material and personnel time and skill to support Habitat for Humanity and Veterans Community Project. Stego has also volunteered with organizations local to our Home Office in California, includ ing Family Assistance Ministries (FAM) and Community Outreach Alliance (COA). FAM is a charitable, non-profit dedicated to preventing hunger and homelessness in South Orange County, California. COA is a non-profit organization that strives to create a positive environ ment for youth, families, military, and seniors in the community to help them stay healthy, active, and prevent the cycle of drug abuse and addiction.
We also believe in supporting our employees’ passions and favorite charitable causes. In 2020, Stego created The Unity Donation Program to support our employees’ desire and abil ity to act in furtherance of societal unity and philanthropic giving. Through this program, Stego offers to double an employee’s charitable donations up to $1,000 per year to an or ganization they are passionate about, so long as the organization is non-profit, disavows violence, and furthers a unified and socially just world. Our Digital Marketing & Paid Me dia Specialist, Erin Teeters, took advantage of this program to double her contributions to Women United, an organization she has been involved in for years that raises funds for non-profit organizations that help women and children. Where possible, Stego endeavors to incorporate two of our passions — philanthropic activity and team building — into one event. For example, in 2019, the company came together in Stego’s Home Office warehouse to assemble, package, and ship 256,608 meals to develop ing countries through a fantastic non-profit organization called Rise Against Hunger. We look forward to continuing to invest our time and resources into similar events and causes moving forward.
