The Solution: The Beast Screed System is designed to allow contractors to more efficiently screed concrete, while achieving better results, which is just what Neeley Construction was looking for. The Beast Foot forming system allowed Neeley Construction to set all their interi or forms to the proper elevation, without putting any holes in the vapor barrier, which is what the project specifica tions called for. In their own words, Neeley Construction reported back that the system had worked beautifully: “We used Stego’s Beast Screed System for placing concrete at our Peninsula College project in Port Angeles, Washington. Although this was the first time we used this product, it was easy to apply and seemed to work much better than the traditional “Cow-pie” method. We also had to elevate recessed formwork for the entry on this project.
